Good night forever

Good night forever

Hello Doll's once again i think i need to apologise, and i am so very sorry i know when running things such as a blog you need to keep up to date with it all and i defiantly need to. But anyway i do have an excuse as i am in my last year of secondary school now year 11 (if you live in England) and i have been working very had to try and pursue a future career which means going all out focusing on exams and GCSE's. But hey its now the holidays and i need to do more revision but i thought why not take a break and try to get back into these sort of things. Anyway I've had a crazy day full of English literature and a crazy week full of crammed revision. So moving on from that *considering all i have been talking about is exams and stress*but if you are struggling take a look at one of my previous posts about dealing with stress (http://geeklychict.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/help.html) But anyway keep your chins up and smile because that all you can do and I'm sure you dolls out there will do perfect. Good luck and i hope to see you all soon and don't forget 'keep your head up, keep your heart strong'

Au naturale

we are all look for amazing natural remedy's to make us all extra beautiful well here is a few small Beauty tips, i found these on the Internet, in my own little remedy book and else where so here goes..

Face Muscles~After washing your face, rinse in cold water (fair-skinned people should use cool instead of cold) to close the pores and tighten the facial muscles
Black heads~ using equal quantity of baking soda and water to create a paste and gentry rubbing it over a patch f black head or over your skin for around 2-3minutes and rinsing is a simple easy way to reduce or even get rid of black heads
Keeping it cool~ Washing the skin using hot water strips the natural oils from the skin and breaks down the skin barrier, leading to dryness and irritation. For a refreshed, healthy skin use warm tepid water to cleanse the skin for maximum benefits
As smooth as a babies bottom~ Exfoliate the skin every day and in the shower. This helps remove the top layer of the skin, irrigating the skin and smoothing the surface. Moisturisers and creams can penetrate deeper into the skin for maximum hydration.

Bubble bars and bath bombs

Phoenix rising, Bath Bomb (£3.20 each)
This Bath bomb releases gentle shea butter, cocoa butter and jojoba oil which is suppose to leave your skin 'feather-soft', and actually it does. Exotic essential oils of fruit and spices are released to take your mind on a flight of fancy to distant shores where you are lying on a beach drinking spiced rum. My opinion on this bath bomb is that it is delicious and leaves your skin feeling great and looking great as well as leaving your bath supper pink and pretty.
 Dorothy, Bubble bar (£2.99 each)
This Bubble bar,  this bubble bar was created by a young man to take him back to his aunties memories. My opinion on this bubble bar is that it does its job of being a bubble bar and feels your bath with white fluffy bubbles, as a bonus it also smell absolutely Devinne, and leaves your bath a beautiful sky blue colour.
Sunnyside, Bubble bar (£3.65)
This Bubble bar is full of uplifting oils that will help you keep your face towards the sunnyside and let the shadows fall behind. My opinion on this Bubble bar is that it is perfect for grey days when all you wish for is a little bit of sparkle in your life, this bubble bar is like your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, it melts into the water and turns your bath a shimmering liquid gold.

Lip saviour

I'm one of these girls, who must always have a lip balm everywhere I go, sometimes even a couple. (I currently have about 3 in my handbag). Lip balms, I think, are an absolute essential. Especially for me as I tend to always have dry lips during both winter and summer months. It's annoying, but nothing that a good lip balm won't sort out.

So lets start with a couple cheap, cheerful and easy on the purse. For the first instalment, two absolute gems from Blistex…

Starting of with the Blistex Intensive Moisturiser; ok to start of it’s a white cream that is quite literally a moisturiser for the lips. It looks quite freaky while you’re applying it, but with a good massage into the lips it almost disappears – enough for you to wander around in public and not look like a corpse, and really injects some juice into the lips.
My other favourite from them, is the Medplus. This is more of a classic lipbalm, with a menthol tingle that works some serious magic on chapped lips. The scent gives it a somewhat medicated vibe and it sits on your lips without feeling too greasy or heavy

the perfect 'imperfect' bun

The minute that I get home from school I throw my hair on top of my head. Without a second thought up it goes, whipped in a hairband and from that moment on it’s affectionately known as the ’pineapple’. However if I decide to rock the ‘pineapple’ throughout the day then I’ve found a great little trick to help me achieve the perfect imperfect bun…
Ok so here’s the scenario, it’s the night before and you figure that you really can’t be arsed to do your hair the following morning (come on we’ve all been there!). All you’ve got to do is tie your hair into a high bun like you usually do, I tend to pull my hair through like I’m doing a ponytail and then only bring half the hair through at the end, then sleep on it. Simples! By the morning you would have achieved ulimate high hair bun messiness. It may need a little tweaking or a touch of hairspray or a few grips here and there to keep it in place but whenever I do my buns like this I always find they look the best!
This style is the epitome of lazy girl, but if you give it a go I promise I won’t judge, Everyone loves the pineapple! Any messy bun tips? Then pop them below im sure we could all take a few pointers
